General 90-Day
Warranty
Quick Links:
When you purchase a part from Denton
County Auto Salvage, it is covered by our 90 Day Standard Part Warranty
as detailed below. This warranty sets forth what is and is not covered
and any limitations on what will be done when you make a claim against
our warranty. We are also members of ARA's Certified Auto Recycler and
Gold Seal Program. For more information and what this means to
you, please click on the GOLD SEAL link above.
Unless otherwise stated below, parts
purchased from Denton County Auto Salvage & UsedAutoPartStore under this
warranty program are covered by general accepted recycled parts
guidelines.
Some important points to remember about
our warranty are:
-
Your warranty
begins on the day after the purchase date on your invoice.
-
You acknowledge
that the part(s) or assembly(ies) purchased by Denton County Auto
Salvage and UsedAutoPartStore and covered by this agreement are used
components when purchased, unless otherwise stated in the auction
listing.
-
We only cover the
items sold to you, subject to the limitations and exclusions
detailed below.
-
REPLACEMENT BEFORE
REFUND: We will always opt to replace the failed part with a
like item before we offer a refund. If a replacement is found,
it will be sent to the same address as the original. We will
cover the cost of shipping the item to you.
-
If we cannot provide a like replacement
within a reasonable amount of time (defined as 10 business days from
the date we acknowledge your notification), then we will provide you
with a choice of either obtaining a refund (less shipping and
handling costs) or continuing to search for a replacement.
-
REFUNDS:
If the need to refund occurs, we will provide your refund in the
same method as you paid us. For example, if you paid us by
PayPal, we will refund by PayPal. The exception is if you paid
us in cash when you picked up the part. For cash paying
customers, you will be refunded by a Company Check.
-
Because the item(s)
purchased from us will go on your vehicle, we will not provide any
warranty coverage or pay for any damage that might be caused to the
other parts of your vehicle. Additionally, we are not responsible
for any personal or property damage that might occur as a result of
our part failing.
-
Labor to reinstall
a part that has failed is not covered unless the customer
specifically purchased a labor warranty. Additional information
about labor warranties is provided below.
EXTENDING YOUR WARRANTY:
If you wish to extend your warranty
beyond 90 days, you may do so by purchasing an extension to your
warranty. How long? How much do you want? Send us an
email or call us if you want to know more about extending your warranty.
