How long is
your warranty? |
▲TOP▲ |

Many
online sellers of auto parts do not offer a warranty for
their used or recycled items. At Denton County
Auto Salvage, we are proud to offer a
90 Day Warranty on all of our items. The
only exception to this are supplemental restraint
airbags (such as the ones mounted in the steering wheel
or dash of your vehicle.
If desired, you can also
extend your warranty to longer than 90 days. For a
reasonable increase in price, we will be happy to extend
the warranty for as long as you like.

The item I
purchased does not fit my vehicle or I no longer want
the item. Do I get a full
refund? |
▲TOP▲ |
|
The year,
make, and model of the vehicle that donated the part is
listed on all of our auctions, as well as the known
interchange information. Interchange means that a
different year/make/model of car might donate the part
that fits your vehicle. If an auction's terms
state the years/makes/models or other applications for a
part, those are the only years/makes/models or other
applications that we guarantee that the part will fit.
It is the buyer's responsibility to research and
determine whether the auction item(s) will fit on other
vehicles or work in other applications. We CANNOT
tell you if a part will fit any other year/make/model or
application that is listed in the auction.
We offer a 30-day return
policy for any items that you wish to return to us.
But your refund will be less the outbound shipping and
the eBay Final Value Fee plus you are
responsible for the return shipping. This policy
works as follows:
-
If
the part you purchased no longer functions, this is
a warranty issue you and you must follow the
guidelines for making a warranty claim.
-
Before you return anything, a Return
Merchandise
Authorization (RMA) must first be
obtained from us. You can do this by completing the
completing the Customer Service Request form or by
calling our office at 940-387-5202 ext. 304.
-
Once
you have the RMA, you must ship the item back to us
before you will receive a refund. The cost
of shipping the returned item to our facility is your responsibility.
Any items shipped to us "freight collect" will be
refused.
-
The
item must be returned in the same condition as it
left. If arrives damaged, or there is evidence
of alteration, your request for a refund will be
denied.
-
Once
we have received your item back at our facility, it
will be inspected. When the item has passed
inspection, you will be refunded your purchase price
less the eBay Final Value Fee and the cost of the
original shipping and handling. Refunds are
paid by the same means you paid us.
For example: You purchase a $60.00 item
with a $12.00 flat rate shipping cost. If you
wish to return the item, your refund would be $42.00
($60.00 - $6.00 (10%) - $12.00 (shipping) )
The one
exception we have is if we provide you with the wrong
part (for example, you ordered a headlight and we sent
you a tail light or the auction listed and you purchased
a passenger side part and we sent you the driver's side). When this occurs, we will offer
to replace your order with the correct item and pay all
shipping costs, including the return of the wrong item.
Or you can elect to accept a full refund and we will
send a call tag to have the incorrect item picked up at
our expense.
